Yoyo is a paper recycling service whereby a customer’s waste paper is removed at the same time as new paper stock is delivered.  The waste paper is then recycled to make Yoyo Full Circle, a range of high quality office papers which are available to buy from Paper Store 1 on the Purelypaper website.

This ongoing recycling system means that the life of the papermaking fibre is extended many times over, so your paper keeps coming back …

We deliver your Paper Store 1 order to your office. We then collect all the waste paper you generate ie. printouts, letters, magazines, leaflets, etc (except brown paper, brown envelopes, cardboard and newspapers) and take it away to be added to a dedicated “fibre pool” of waste paper. This is like a paper bank that every company that Yoyo works with, deposits into and withdraws from.

Waste paper is then recycled to the highest standard at a recycling plant in Europe and used to make Yoyo Full Circle – a range of 100% recycled paper. Yoyo makes it as easy as possible for you to recycle every piece of paper you use, even your confidential documents.  Choose from two levels of security:-

	Recycle – for non-confidential used office paper (Click here for details)
	Recycle Plus – for used office paper containing commercially sensitive information (Click here for details)

Both waste disposal levels have their own sacks, desk and floor receptacles that make sure each document is disposed of correctly and responsibly.  Depending on your requirements, choose from:

Yoyo provides certification to prove your company’s Duty of Care in meeting obligations under the latest Landfill Directive (Oct 2007).  Our merchant partner is a registered waste carrier and will provide you with the necessary documentation which guarantees that your paper is being managed in the most sustainable manner possible.

Upon request, we can also provide you with management data that will track:

• How much paper has been collected from your company and recycled.
• How much waste paper has been reused as recycled office paper.

This information provides transparency of your paper waste stream, removing concerns over data security or waste being disposed of inappropriately.

Step 2:
Place your Paper Store 1 order online at purelypaper.co.uk for paper, sacks and receptacles.

We deliver your order next working day* (regional exceptions and specials excluded)

We register your organisation with our merchant partner under their Office Paper Recycling System.  As part of this scheme, you will be meeting your obligations under the Landfill Directive on Non-Hazardous Waste (Oct 2007).

You will then be issued with a Waste Transfer Note which will be sent under separate cover. This guarantees that your paper is being managed in the most sustainable manner possible.

Step 3: Sign and return the Waste Transfer Note to the address provided.  This Note is renewable after 12 months.

To reduce the environmental impact of the process, waste paper is only removed at the same time as new paper stock is delivered. Therefore, please note, you can only arrange a waste paper collection at the same time as you place a new order for Paper Store 1 items.
 
Step 1:

Use the Quantity Selector to select the number of FULL sacks ready for collection.

Step 2:
Ensure that sacks are secured and accessible for collection.

We will combine your next paper delivery with collection of the full waste paper sacks thereby reducing the carbon footprint of paper transportation.

• In the production of 500 sheets of recycled paper against virgin fibre, the energy saved is equivalent to operating a 25 watt light bulb for 2 days and 2 hours, or saves enough water to do a complete washing cycle in a state of the art washing machine.

• To produce 3, A4 sheets of recycled fibre against virgin fibre, the energy saved is sufficient to heat one litre of water from 20-100 degrees C.

• If all the copying paper used in Germany were produced from recycled paper, the water saved would be equivalent to 1270 Chelsea football stadiums filled to the roof!

• The production of 1000Kg of recycled paper compared to virgin fibre saves the quantity of CO2 that an average car discharges over 600 miles.
