This double side coated Photo Rag quality with a grammage of 220gsm is perfectly suited for book and album production. Grain direction is predetermined for each cut sheet size and marked on the packaging (all sizes are short grain except the A2 which is long grain).
For all bookbinding techniques, the grain direction needs to run parallel to the spine of the book or album in order to enable a smooth turning over of pages. Therefore, short grain sheets need to be bound on the short side. Long grain sheets need to be bound on the long side.
