Incada Exel is a fully coated cream back folding box board with an uncoated cream reverse side (GC2).

Incada Exel is designed for quality packaging applications where outstanding visual impact is of prime importance. Its stiffness characteristics in relation to grammage make it particularly suitable for large machine erected cartons. Incada Exel is a primary fibre paperboard comprising bleached chemical pulp outer plies, mechanical pulp middle plies and carefully chosen coating ingredients which together meet the requirements for high performance in quality printing and varnishing.

The fully coated finish on the printing side gives a very smooth surface and meets the requirements for both demanding half tone gravure and offset litho processes, where smoothness and uniform ink absorption characteristics are of prime importance. The reverse side is uncoated and can be printed for less demanding printing requirements.

Ideal for Pharmaceutical and Health care, Frozen and Chilled food, Beverages, Mixes, Cereals, Biscuits, Bakery, Cakes, Tobacco, Microwaveable products, Wines and Spirits, Confectionery, Annual Reports, Media.

Suitable for sheet-fed offset, silkscreen printing, gravure, flexo and UVC Flatbed Digital. Incada also works well in most digital printing presses and digital copiers on the market today although we would recommend the user tests samples to establish suitability on the target printer prior to purchase. It is also suitable for digital finishing technology. Incada products are not suitable for web-offset or heatset printing.

Incada Exel can be PE extrusion coated on both the print and reverse sides and can be sheet laminated over the print with cellulose acetate or oriented polypropylene (OPP) for a high gloss appearance. Incadas stiffness and baseboard performance will support full speed printing and post-print production. Creasing and embossing can be performed efficiently and with good results. Incada can be glued with both emulsion (water-based) and hot melt adhesives. With both types of adhesive, initial tack, fibre tear and secure mature bonds can be achieved over a wide range of speeds and conditions of use. All raw materials used in the making of Incada are approved for food contact according to current regulations.
