PCL Matt White PE Labels are a truly unique material that look, print and fabricate like paper but are durable like plastic film. The microporous structure makes the product absorptive, yet water resistant, soft but strong, highly printable and durable. The porous, uncoated nature of the sheet allows inks and toners to form strong anchor points with the substrate.

The 110gsm uncoated, filled polyolefin film material is waterproof, durable (chemical and abrasion resistant) conformable, steam sterilisable and offers a long-life alternative to paper labels.

Excellent for use on critical surfaces, the adhesive is highly water resistant and is suitable for labelling cold and humid surfaces. Excellent for applications where durability and water resistance is required.

Compatible with numerous printing and finishing methods, it can be sheet fed litho, screen, laser, ink jet, thermal transfer and indigo printed with excellent results.

Adhesive is permanent (marine grade) UV acrylic and in conjunction with this face material is approved to BS5609 part 2 - labelling of chemicals for transport by sea/air. For test tube or tight radius labelling the conformability of the face combined with the strength of the adhesive makes this combination ideal. The adhesive meets the requirements of FDA 21 CFR 175.105 (for indirect food contact), EN71-3 (Toy Safety), CONEG, The Packaging (Essential Requirements) Regulations 2015 and EU Regulation 94/62/EC (Packaging and Packaging Waste). No heavy metals are used in the manufacturing process and typical contents are less than 1ppm.

Combined with an extra wide patented 13mm grip and lay edge for trouble free feeding, and the highest quality materials available, you can be sure of fantastic print reproduction and total confidence to use even in the highest speed presses. The PCL range provides printers and designers with a truly flexible labelling solution.

All PCL materials are also constructed to withstand multiple printing processes e.g. pre-print fixed information by offset litho and overprint variable data by digital (laser or copier) methods. The unique, patented layout provides an exceptionally stable sheet making multiple process printing easy. Alternatively, produce finished high-quality labels straight from your desktop. Easy to set up in Word, graphics-based programmes or bespoke labelling software.

Backing is a white high density kraft paper with excellent lay flat properties.
