MetsaBoard Classic FBB is a fully coated cream back folding box board (GC2). It has a double blade coated top side and a hard sized printable reverse, suitable for multicolour printing.

MetsaBoard Classic FBB has excellent smoothness, printability and foldability and combines clear yield advantage and efficiency with good sensory and hygienic properties, making it ideal for branded fast-moving products such as food and healthcare. Approved for direct food contact, it has improved moisture resistance and all pulp layers are hard-sized

Suitable for offset, flexo and digital printing, MetsaBoard Classic FBB has also been successfully used on some laser printers. However, users must make their own tests to establish suitability and optimum settings on individual laser printers.

MetsaBoard Classic FBBs consistent quality results in trouble-free printing, converting and packing. Its lightweight construction allows a lower basis weight to be specified without loss of strength and performance.

MetsaBoard Classic FBB is approved for food packaging and recommended for tea, cereals and bakery products, chocolate confectionery, frozen foods, medical products, hygiene products and general packaging. MetsaBoard Classic FBB is also ideal for applications such as backing board, displays, dividers, folding boxes, packaging, protective packaging, point of sale, posters, tags and labels (including luggage labels), tickets, wallets and folders and many other related applications.

PEFC - MetsaBoard Classic FBB is made from fresh fibres, traceably sourced from sustainably managed northern forests.
