Ideal for litho, letterpress, silkscreen printing, UV varnishing, embossing, foil blocking, die-cutting, and thermography, Olin Colours adapts to your preferred printing techniques. Moreover, the carbon-free smooth surface means Olin Colours Black is particularly suitable for dry toner printing (subject to the caveat regarding dark shades - see below). Suitable for copy, laser, and inkjet printing up to 170gsm, and in 240gsm (subject to machine compatibility). For weights exceeding 240gsm in laser and inkjet printing, we recommend conducting tests to ensure compatibility and optimal settings on your target printers. Please note, some dry toner digital machines may have issues detecting very dark sheets such as deep blacks. Please refer to your machines settings and user manual for more information.
Due to its intense shade, applications of Olin Colours Black that could be in direct contact with water could result in colour bleeding, in these cases a protective varnish is recommended.
